Shhh!!! It's A Secret.

Do you have glass shower doors and/or walls? Do they have a build up of soap scum and water deposits that you just can't seem to clean? Let me give you a real doozy of a cleaning tip. The next time you want to clean your glass shower door or walls try using Mr. Clean's Magic Eraser. It works extremely well in breaking down soap scum and water deposits on glass doors and glass walls.

Mr. Clean's Magic Eraser is a sponge that only has one ingredient - ethanol. If you are not familiar with this chemical it is alcohol derived from corn. It may take more than one attempt to remove all of the scum and deposits but it will eventually come off. Make sure that you are using hot water when cleaning. Wear rubber gloves to protect your hands from the hot water. Every time you increase the water temperature by 17 degrees you increase the "molecular excitability" by 100%.  In other words it works better. Also have on hand a scotch pad scrubber to help further breakdown the scum and deposits.

Once you have it cleaned you want it to remain that way for as long as possible. Apply a coat of RainX Car Finish to the glass. You can usually by RainX at any car part store such as Kragen, Chief or anywhere car cleaning supplies are sold. You can usually find this item at Walgreens, CVC, Safeway and Bel Air. This will create a invisible barrier between the glass and the deposits making your future clean ups much easier. Because the RainX helps to shed the water it lowers the probability of mold and mildew in your shower. RainX will probably last 6-12 months depending on how often you use your shower, the hardness of your water, and the types of soap that you use.

For remaining tile and grout in your shower you should hire us to professionally clean and possibly seal. We can save you a lot of time, sore muscles, and an achy back.

As always I hope this has been helpful to you.

Great RESOURCE of Information. My husband wants to know how to apply the RainX to the glass?

Pamela - tell your husband to follow the same directions as if he was applying it to your car.
